98 years ago a doctor from Swiss wrote regularly to her promised girlfriend about his rises in northern Italy. postcards, letters, any kind of other papers. 70 years later my father found those postcards in his at the time abandoned villa, which he and his team of emigrated italian-spanish workers were about to tear down. looking in an old bag of my grandfather, i found his son’s collected stuff, and those postcards and letters. this is about being chronically an emigrant and looking back to your past and to those hidden stories from a time you can only imagine. from the “Heidelberg EP”. the volume settings folder.
